I bought a box of wood bark and some basswood from here a while back and was very pleased with what I received. I am sure I will order from them again.

Basswood pieces I ordered were very good, I ordered a few different sizes and all was top quality, will buy more.

Some of the best basswood around. Great and easy to order what you need. Been carving 50+ years and wished I’d found this place a lot sooner.

I have been buying basswood from these folks for several years now. Orders ship quickly for those times when I go to reach in my bin and find that I am running out of wood to carve! The grade of the blocks is amazing, and they always carve like a dream. It’s hard to find a place that delivers wood at a consistent quality in a reasonable time frame. Loess Hills does. I wouldn’t buy from anyone else.

I have made two orders of varying sizes and find this wood to be of a high quality. With good wood and good knives magic happens in my shop.
